Associate Advisor – Wealth Management

Pacific Portfolio is looking for our next Associate Advisor-Wealth Management. The person filling this role will work with one or more senior advisors and client portfolio administrators to help increase the value of our client’s time.
Focus
Supporting Senior WM Advisor and freeing up their time to develop new business and maintain existing
Responsible for knowing all aspects of assigned client’s situation
Prepare standard deliverables as requested by the Senior Advisors which can include but are not limited to investment proposals, investment plans, tax analysis, cash needs analysis, and asset allocation
Emphasis is on client retention, exceptional service, and strong relationships with the Senior Advisors and portfolio administrative teams to support our clients
Responsibilities
Works with multiple Advisors based on needs of clients and the firm
May be asked to attend client meetings to assist the Senior Advisor with running or presenting in the meeting
Works closely with other team members on new plan preparation
Review client or prospective client financial situation and develop a recommendation for their unique needs
Handles follow-up tasks with clients after meetings with minimal assistance
Prepares for annual review meetings
Handles some meetings independently, in consultation with the Senior WM Advisor
Researching and creating client communication around relevant financial planning topics
Produces education material for Senior Advisors and other associates
Qualifications
CFP® or CFA® professional
Series 65 or ability or obtain within the first 90 days
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated knowledge base
2-3 years experience in financial planning
Knowledge or Money Guide Pro or similar software, and Morningstar to support client analysis
PPC Associate Advisor Opportunities for Advancement
Demonstrates proven ability to earn the trust of clients and lead client relationships
Possesses communication skills needed to manage client relationships
Able to handle review meetings and present plans
Earned trust and respect of Senior Advisors to manage less complex relationships
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive Base Salary + Bonus up to 15% of base salary.
