Advisor - Wealth Management

Position Overview

The Advisor - Wealth Management role is responsible for providing wealth management services to clients under the guidance of senior advisors. The position focuses on developing client relationships, financial planning, and portfolio management while demonstrating proficiency in all areas of planning and client presentations.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Assigned to clients based on knowledge and experience.

  • Works with multiple advisors to meet the financial planning needs of clients.

  • Attends client meetings, assisting the Senior Wealth Management Advisor as a second chair advisor.

  • Plays a role in presenting financial plans and conducting review meetings.

  • Handles follow-up tasks with clients after meetings, providing initial assistance.

  • Prepares materials for client review meetings.

  • Begins to build a professional network and contributes to business development efforts.

Financial Planning & Advisory Support

  • Works closely with other team members on new financial plan preparation.

  • Manages some meetings independently as the lead, while consulting with the Senior Wealth Management Advisor when needed.

  • Demonstrates expertise and knowledge in all areas of financial planning.

  • Assists in portfolio sustainability projections, estate planning, charitable giving strategies, and wealth transfer techniques.

    Qualifications

  • CFP® or CFA® certification required.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial planning strategies and client relationship management.

  • 5-10 years of experience in wealth management or a related field.

    U.S Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.

  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States. For U.S. employment opportunities, Pacific Portfolio Consulting, LLC hires U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Pacific Portfolio Consulting, LLC will require proof of work authorization.

  • Must be willing to execute Pacific Portfolio Consulting, LLC’s Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, which require, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality, and non-disclosure.

    Pay Information

  • Base salary starting at $125,000, with advisor compensation based on revenue.
